The Bay Dredging project is 77% complete with 74,912 CY dredged as of March 8th. South Basin, Snug Harbor, Shelter Haven entrance, Stone Harbor Basin, Pleasure Bay, Tuxedo Cove, Carnival Bay and the Access Channel are 100% complete. Still needing dredging are Sanctuary Bay (10% completed), Paradise Bay (90% completed), and Stone Harbor Hole (0% completed).
Dredging volume has recently averaged approximately 1500 CY per day. At that rate, the project will be completed in approximately 15 working days. The contractor is expected to finish the project this year and is confirmed to be working until March 31st.
