Stone Harbor Council Meeting Summary for December 1, 2020

Shelter Haven Dredging (00:01:33
Two residents on the Shelter Haven lagoon are having their dock areas dredged. Council agreed to a pilot program allowing the dredging company to offload dredging material into trucks at the end of 99th Street. Council noted that it would be monitored to determine if this new process can be used elsewhere in the Borough. 

Mobile COVID-19 Testing (00:49:30)
Mayor Judith Davies-Dunhour provided an update on Cape May County’s COVID-19 committee activities. The committee resumed meetings in November 2020 to discuss rising cases and vaccine availability. Mobile testing will be available on January 12th and 14th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., tentatively in the parking lot at 95th Street and the beach. Appointments will be required and can be made by calling the Cape May County Health Department at (609) 463-6581. 

Planning Board Report (00:52:50)
The lot grading ordinance is being reviewed and will be brought to Council for approval at a future date.
Zoning changes are being considered to allow homes on the Courts and Linden Lane to include a second story.
