Please join us at our upcoming membership meeting, we have a great agenda and an open Q&A.  The doors open at 8 am with coffee and pastries  from Maryanne’s Pastry Shop courtesy, of Ide Insurance Agency.  We will also be streaming video highlights of our great town on the big screen from 8-9 am, including the top 12 submissions to our picture contest.  Free street parking is available until 11:30 am. The formal meeting will begin at 9 am. 

 

This fall’s meeting features two timely presentations. The first is on upcoming fall activities in the Scott Bonnet wetlands to help prevent further sea level rise damage, courtesy of the US Army Corp of Engineers, NJ DEP, Fish and Wildlife, and our very on Wetlands Institute. The second, also related to climate change, is on proposed state legislation which, if adopted, could impact barrier island development and redevelopment for decades to come.  The full agenda is below.
