The Corps of Engineers has issued a public notice soliciting comments regarding a request by the Borough of Stone Harbor to modify their existing Department of the Army permit. The permit, identified as CENAP-OP-R-2015-167-24, was originally issued October 15, 2015, for dredging by hydraulic method, with pipeline discharge to the dewatering area at the Borough’s marina adjacent to North Basin. The Borough has proposed to modify their dredging and dewatering methods. The proposal is described in more detail in the notice.
